Undoing myself

Journal Entry: Thu Oct 2, 2008, 6:11 PM
  • Mood: Peaceful
  • Listening to: Shamanic songs
  • Reading: Cosmic Trigger
  • Watching: Radical Undoing yourself vol 1
  • Playing: Bioshock
  • Drinking: Coffee
I have been reading Undoing yourself through Energised Meditation by Christopher Hyatt

The first experiment is to get an understanding of the Cosmic Scientist and the Cosmic Comic (jungians would probably descibe these as the scientist/philosopher/Hermes and trickster architypes).  The process is first reading Cosmic Trigger by Robert Anton Wilson

Then Reading Promethus Rising by R.A.W

Then listening three times to the pig song, and the Monkey Faced Guru song by Israel Regardie and friends

Then Reading Info-Psychology by Timothy Leary

Then Listening to Mantram by Israel Regardie
Then reading Cosmic trigger again, and then again while playing Mantram.

Lol

So I started last night reading through the forewords and Prologue to cosmic trigger last night and the enormity of the task hit me.
I've found Cosmic Trigger and Promethus Rising are somewhat like taking a psychedelic at the best of times, but this method seems to me that it would increase the potency several fold.

So then why am I doing it?

Well I've been feeling somewhat stuck in a rut I guess.  Creatively, personally, spiritually.  Mainly it is resulting from changes in my work situation (which I won't bore you with the details) which basically resulting in my workload increasing, leaving me with little energy left in my life outside of work.

So what I'm hoping to bring about by doing this, and the other exercises in the books, is to clear the blockages, to bring about a change in myself, and thus in my reality.

If I don't get too lazy, I'll keep you updated here, and hopefully I'll be inspired through the process to do more artwork :)

Thanks, Its already started to in some unexpected ways; over the weekend my visualisations in meditation where very clear. However, that may have had more to do with the environment I was in during the weekend (I was at a bush dance party) so it may have just having been out of the city and amongst the pine trees ;)

Yes so if you think everyone is equal, you must then think that everyone is equally awesome ;)

lol also don't forget that the word awe relates to an emotion that combines dread, veneration and wonder. And that Awesome, means "inspiring Awe", another word that means "inspiring awe" is awful. ;)
